10月29日 南极离奇丑闻 海豹强奸帝企鹅 (图)
科学家日前在接近南极的马里恩岛目睹一个自然界奇景──一只雄性南极软毛海豹企图强暴一只帝企鹅，可是海豹最终无法得逞，“丑事”却被科学家摄进镜头。
科学家不清楚海豹为何强暴企鹅，也不知受害企鹅的性别，但相信这是有纪录以来首次有哺乳动物企图跟脊椎动物等异类交配。 拍摄该奇景的南非科学家估计，施暴海豹可能是只没有性经验的年幼雄性海豹，由于太幼嫩，未获雌性海豹青睐，但性欲突然涌起，于是饥不择食，选了只企鹅。
10月25日 Melamine has been detected in these products     SINGAPORE: The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has instructed importers and retailers to withdraw all Malaysia-made Julie's brand of biscuits from the shelves. This came after AVA detected the industrial chemical melamine in 12 Julie's biscuit products imported from Malaysia. AVA said there are 25 types of Julie's biscuits sold in Singapore,but as a precaution, it has decided to recall all Julie's biscuits. Five other Malaysia-made biscuits are also affected. They are"Khong Guan Assorted Biscuits", "Khian Guan Biscuit Osborne", "Leo GoldFinger Choco", "Santa Chocolate Gold Fingers" and "Swan ChocolateFingers". AVA advises consumers who have bought the affected biscuits not to eat them. AVA's tests also included various types of biscuits under the majorbrands of "Khong Guan" and "Meiji", as well as other traditional biscuits that are manufactured in Singapore. I am wondering and worrying when I can start studying for finals...
The tutor returned the evaluation form to us at the end of the tutorial.
I was very suprised that there are "certain amount" of ticks at the middle column "G'...
NO ticks at the last 2 columns ( "F"&"P") and a few at "VG" column... where F=Fair, P=Pass
Actually I din grade my performance well... I was very nervous and panicky.
I looked at my notes involuntarily at most of the time.
I have missed out some points also.. which might cause me present less than 3 minutes...
Was I doing average or "good"?
 I think my tutor is quite merciful, to me la...
Some of my groupmates seemed unsatisfied with their "no. of ticks" (specially in VG and F column ) given by him...
He explained to us unambigiously how he graded our presentations..
Before that, I thought he is that kind of "slack slack" tutor,
but actually he is quite “有料”！
